As the conclusion of my High School career approaches, I’ll take this time to reflect on how much I’ve changed in 4 years. Overall, I am so thankful for how I’ve grown into a more confident, optimistic, and less naive individual. God has blessed me greatly by letting me discover a variety of things about myself, and allowing me to develop a better understanding of what my mission for the rest of my life should be. After developing my art skills and becoming less of a wallflower, I set a goal for myself: to reach out and touch people’s lives. To me, art is such an awesome part of the things that make earth beautiful, and I know that God has given me a gift in order to use it to glorify Him. What good are your gifts if you don’t use them to positively affect other people? Before entering High School, I was rather self-centered and getting so caught up in materialistic things that don’t and won’t even matter in the long run. And now, I’ll (hopefully) be leaving with a better head on my shoulders than I had arrived with. Thank God. Thank God!
I’d like to introduce you to my (fairly) new baby. She’s cute, lightweight, and takes polaroids of far better quality than that of the picture captured above with my iPhone. I love her.

I heard about your Gold Seal from my friend who also went to State. Congrats! You're so amazingly talented<3(:
Jodie, thanks so much for congratulating me! And thank you :). You’re so sweet, and I’m really glad that you decided to make art a part of your life. |
Finally living my dream of receiving a Gold Seal at the Visual Arts Scholastic Event. Thank you so much to everyone and anyone who believed in me. This was so unexpected, since I have been to State twice before, but never received one. Congratulations to all the other Gold Seal winners, as well as to those who made it to State; the works I saw today showcase the incredible talent of TX. So blessed and thankful xoxo
